Senti-monu-mental

To mark the tenth anniversary of my photographic project ‘Roadkill Family Album’ Artlink gallery in Hull presents ‘Senti-monu-mental’ a small retrospective selection of my alternatives to the traditional family snapshot album, shown together for the first time. Alongside my best-known works, such as the ‘Roadkill’ series and ‘Superhero Family Album’, they will preview my new projects ‘The Dunces’ and ‘The Nigel Doll Album’.

The private view is on Friday 20th August from 6.30pm to 8.00pm everyone welcome!

The Art of Photography

‘Roadkill Family Album’ has won an award in the ‘Art of Photography’ competition in San Diego; one of the biggest photographic competitions in America. There were 13, 692 entries from 67 countries, 113 pieces were selected for the show and 15 were awarded prizes. The prize-winners will be officially announced on August 28th at an awards evening at The Lyceum Theatre in San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter; the exhibition was curated by Natasha Egan, Associate Director and Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago.

The private view is on Saturday August 28th from 6.00pm to 10.00pm
The exhibition runs from 28/8/10 to 07/11/10
